This residency brought together a group of 30 practitioners, curators, researchers and artists from around the world to reflect on the socially-engaged nature of their work and research.
Embedded Arts Practice and the Future of the Biella: Parts 1 & 2
UNIDEE, Fondazione Pistoletto and Fondazione Zegna
This two-part residency which took place in December 2021 and May 2022 facilitated a small group of practitioners to work with a group of local young people. Over the course of two week-long intensives, the group discussed, reflected on and collected research relating to the role of nature and the various communities of Biella. Through site visits, hikes, talks, workshops and seminars, the group developed various research outcomes that culminated in a multi-media exhibition of work and a zine.
